I finalized my life insurance policy today. They kicked me up a health category, which is costing me $30/month more. The reason...low HDL. Not because I'm a fat ass, not because of high cholesterol, not because of family history, but because my HDL ratio was off by a bit (they wanted it at 4.5 and I was 5.0). I can request a reevaluation in two years to get it dropped. Just irritating as hell.

I hate being a big kid.
