Bugs you're most afraid of?

Cicadas freak me the fuck out. I had two of these bastards fly into my house last night. They're extremely loud, large, disgusting, and fly around Kamikaze style into everything. I've dealt with scorpions in Texas and Brown Recluses before, but Cicadas make me scream like a little girl when I come into contact with them.

You wouldn't have lasted here a few years back. We had a massive hatch of the big green Cicadas. They were everywhere, all over every tree and building. It was insane. Fortunately there won't be another one for about 12 years.

I have about a hundred chigger bites on my lower legs and waist area. I've been trying my best not to scratch but it's driving me crazy.

Chiggers drop off relatively soon after biting, so by the time I'm done riding the trails the nail polish thing would be too late.

Really? It's not that uncommon for a 15 year old kid to be a little scared of the twat, but I would think someone of your advanced age would've had enough encounters by now that it wouldn't bother you. Besides, it's not even a "bug". :P

I can't think of any bug that scares me. People always freak out when a spider, bee, wasp is around them. I usually just swat at it if its near my face and go on with my business.


However, I've been at my parents pool a lot lately and I fucking hate the horseflies it attracts. Fuckers land on me constantly to drink.
