At the phog I was pretty boring, and didn't make a lot of enemies. The worst interaction I ever had was with the douchebag Mario152008, who gave away an episode of The Office in a PM after I'd posted that I hadn't had a chance to watch it yet. I posted it on the Ape Room to show everyone what a douche he was.

A million years ago when I was a stupid 20 year-old, I posted on the BenFoldsFive.com board. Had some pretty excellent cyber sessions back and forth with a chick there. They've long-since been deleted, and that site isn't really working anymore (at least not the message board).

Yeah, I know. They outed him on the baseball board a couple of years ago. The only sock I ever had was a parody of that douche. My avatar was of ManRam and Big Papi smooching.

hey man, of course i went to duke.

I did Microbiology/Immunology here in the late 1980's, when I was here with Quin Snyder and also Danny Ferry. Queen threw an alley-oop one night that hit this lady square in the head; i could tell when he let it fly that it was going to sail waaaaay off to the left of the goal and it sure did; she wasn't looking at the ball and it caught her off-guard and she went 'ooooooooooooooooh!!' and it was just hilarious. My days in Cameron, watching the team, are among the best days of my life.

I made friends with then-assistant coach Pete Gaudet, and he'd call me after my Duke student days were done and he'd invite me back to practice (closed practices at Duke) to watch Cherokee Parks fight Christian Laettner in practice. In fact, I remain tied to the school and what's going on with the team, getting two coaches tickets per year to attend a game in Cameron. This year I gave my tickets to my son and our housekeeper, who is poor and has never had the chance to attend a college basketball game, ever (duke/indiana, and she lost my favorite duke cat in the hat hat which i had loaned to her).

At Duke, I published a paper in the Journal of Immunology that went around the world.

After Duke, I went to pharmacy school at UNC-Chapel Hill where I graduated with Honors and Distinction.

I now sell drugs for a large pharma company and i work in their oncology division, selling drugs that treat breast cancer and lung cancer.

I have named my son Cameron.

So, Duke has made a huge impact on my life.
